FAQs

What types of workshops does BridgeUSA offer?

BridgeUSA offers specialized workshops in dialogue participation and facilitation, designed to enhance participants’ skills in both engaging in and moderating constructive dialogues. Our offerings include short and long formats, basic workshops are 90 minutes in length and our advanced workshops are 180 minutes.

We tailor our workshops through detailed consultations and participant intake forms to align with your organization’s specific requirements, language, and mission. Note that extra staff support fees may apply for significant customization.

Our facilitators are experienced moderators who have led BridgeUSA chapters on their college campuses. They bring firsthand experience in facilitating dialogue among over 25,000 students, ensuring relatable and effective sessions.

BridgeUSA workshops are best delivered in person to maximize interactive exercises and practice sessions. While we also offer online options via live video sessions (e.g., Zoom, webinars), in-person workshops allow for a more engaging and dynamic learning experience.

Please note that in-person workshops may involve additional staff support fees.  Contact us for detailed pricing information and to discuss the best format for your needs.

Our sessions range from 90 to 180 minutes. We can adjust the duration based on your content needs and practice session requirements. For in-person engagements, we can schedule multiple sessions in a single day to accommodate conference timetables.

Each workshop has a base cost plus a facilitator cost depending on modality and number of participants. Additional costs may arise for in-person sessions, including travel and special materials. Contact us for detailed pricing information.

We employ pre- and post-workshop surveys to assess the effectiveness of our sessions. Our comprehensive evaluations help us gauge key factors associated with successful dialogue participation. Contact us for more information on our BridgeUSA Polarization Index (BPI), and if you would like to employ the data gathering for your workshop.

Yes, we offer independent badging and credentialing through our partner, Team Democracy. To receive a badge and certificate of completion, participants will complete pre- and post-workshop surveys, which help us track learning and gather valuable data. These credentials can be shared on social media platforms like LinkedIn.

Post-training, we continue to support our partners by offering ongoing resources and the possibility of recurrent workshop sessions. We are committed to fostering lasting relationships in the dialogue facilitation space.
