BridgeUSA is the largest and fastest growing student organization empowering young people to engage in constructive dialogue and disagreement. Today we serve 85 college chapters across the US. Our vision is a thriving US democracy where leaders and citizens engage in respectful, productive dialogue. Everyday, we work to build college chapters that promote dialogue, invite diverse political perspectives, host open and honest discussions, and bridge gaps in understanding. 

Position Summary

BridgeUSA is an emerging brand with a clear theory of change, strong product market fit, and ambitious growth goals. Today, BridgeUSA serves 85 college chapters and 10,000+ students annually. annually. Over the next 4 years we will expand to 800 college chapters and 600,000+ students annually.

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will develop and execute a data-driven marketing and brand strategy that will be a direct lever for BridgeUSA’s chapter and attendance growth. The ideal candidate is 1) a data-driven leader with experience, 2) passionate for building marketing campaigns that map into measurable metrics, and 3) excited to lead a team of ambitious creatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to align fundraising goals with strategic priorities.
  • Independently develop and implement a cohesive, multi-channel (social media, email, and website) marketing strategy aligned with the organization’s growth and fundraising goals.
  • Utilize attribution and ROI analysis to demonstrate the direct impact of marketing efforts on chapter and fundraising growth.
  • Build and manage a high-performing marketing team, including staff, consultants, and agency partners.
  • Utilize data to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and for continuous content improvement.
  • Lead brand positioning, ensuring consistent messaging and storytelling across all platforms.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, nice to have: focus on students and young people.
  • Excited to build marketing campaigns that are compelling to multiple political perspectives.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong proficiency in marketing analytics and performance measurement tools.
  • Proven impact attained through data-driven marketing strategies for high-growth public or private sector organizations.
  • Strong expertise in digital marketing, social media, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Exceptional storytelling, copywriting, and brand development skills.
  • Strong proficiency with google analytics, social media analytics, and vendor management.
